A gift for a soldier that recalls home, not the war

It is hard to pick a gift for someone who is far from home right now, occupied with entirely different things. This is not the place for grand symbolism — the opposite works best: something simple and personal, a map of the yard they grew up in, the street their house stands on, or the district they will return to. It's a small object that fits in a pocket or a backpack, promises nothing and explains nothing — it just recalls a specific place.

Why a map of home

A map doesn't try to say anything on your behalf — it shows a place the person knows better than anyone: their yard, their street, their parents' house. It's not a themed souvenir but an object tied to a specific address.

A keychain is easy to carry, compact, and holds up in a pocket or on a backpack. A magnet can be sent along with a letter or a parcel — so there's something on the fridge at home, wherever the person eventually returns to.

What you can make

A keychain with a map of the yard or street (from 170 ₴) — a name, a short date or a few words can be engraved.

A fridge magnet (210 ₴) — a convenient option for leaving something at home or sending in a parcel.

A desktop 3D map, size S or M (350 or 490 ₴) — for a slightly bigger gift, for a shelf or a desk.

How to make it in 5 minutes

Choose a product — keychain, magnet or 3D map, find the yard, street or building on the map, check the free 3D preview (1–2 minutes), and add an engraving if needed.

Then order a print delivered via Nova Poshta within Ukraine, or, if you want to print it yourself, download the 3MF file for free (sign in with Google).

Engraving, and what not to add

The engraving on a keychain or magnet — a name, a short phrase or a date — is added directly in the builder. Photos or logos are not engraved onto the product: this is map-printing technology, not photo printing.

If you're unsure which place to pick, go with the address the person will actually return to — their home yard or childhood street, not an abstract symbol.

Timing and delivery

Printing and Nova Poshta delivery within Ukraine take 2–4 business days after printing. Payment is online.

If the parcel needs to go through a unit or volunteers rather than Nova Poshta straight to the recipient, plan for that extra time separately — the printing timeline itself doesn't change.

The 3MF file can also be downloaded for free and sent over messenger — then the person decides for themselves when and where to print it, if a 3D printer is nearby.

Create a map keychain

Payment is online, delivery is within Ukraine only. If you can't wait for a physical print, the free 3D preview or the 3MF file for self-printing can already be shown or shared as part of the gift.
